Bethel Grade School District #82 is inviting sealed Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, located at Bethel Grade School District #82, 1201 Bethel Road , Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864.
This project consists of construction of CLASSROOM AND LOBBY ADDITION WITH GYMNASIUM RENOVATIONS.
Bids will be received by Bethel Grade School District #82 until the date and time listed below, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after THE OPENING of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
Online procurement and contracting documents: documents will be available online through an electronic bid site managed by Farnsworth Group, Inc. Obtain access after 12:00 PM, May 27th, 202512:00 PM, May 27, 2025, by visiting www.f-w.com and clicking on the project bid list link at the bottom of the page or by contacting Farnsworth Group, Inc. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders during the bidding process. A separate ftp site will be made available to the successful bidder for the duration of construction.
Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
The Owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the Owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non job-related handicaps or national origin.
Bethel Grade School District #82 reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, Bethel Grade School District #82 may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best services and reasonable cost.
Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, Conciliation, and Mediation Division dated MOST RECENT. these wages will remain in effect until superseded by a new determination.
Bids will be held good for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids.
