At last night's regular meeting of the Board of Education, the following action took place.
The consent agenda was approved, consisting of the approval of the agenda, Approval and signing of the minutes of the regular meeting on December 18, 2025, Approval of the bills, payroll, and Treasurer’s Report, and to dispose of closed session verbatim audio recordings up to eighteen months back. The listed item of annual meeting dates was withheld until the February meeting.
The 2025-26 employee handbook was approved.
The Board moved to keep the closed session minutes from July 2025 to December 2025 closed.
The Board heard a summary of recent Freedom of Information Act requests and responses.
The Board entered closed session for approximately 50 minutes.
No action was taken after closed session.
Mr. Cass gave the superintendent's report that highlighted a variety of items that included athletic updates, school improvement team efforts, the ROE spelling bee, Brain games, the awarding of the district's maintanance grant, and our most recent fire safety inspection.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:53 PM.
