At last night's regular Meeting of the Board of Education, the following action took place.
The Consent Agenda was approved, consisting of: Approval of the agenda, approval and signing of the minutes of the regular meeting on January 22, 2026, approval of bills, payroll, and Treasurer’s Report, approval of the 2026 Board Meeting Dates and Times. Note that board meetings will now be on the fourth Monday of each month.
The Board gave authorization to the superintendent to advertise bids for playground equipment.
The Board approved the Amended 25-26 School Calendar. The last day for students will be May 26th.
The Board approved the 26-27 School Calendar.
Mr. Cass presented a FOIA request that was granted and denied in part.
The Board entered closed session for approximately an hour and a half.
Upon returning to open session, the Board authorized Mr. Cass to advertise for a vacant seat with a term expiring in 2029.
The Board approved a Settlement Agreement and Release Agreement with Cody Ellis.
The Board accepted the resignation of Grace Wagner as Assistant Volleyball Coach.
Mr. Cass gave a presentation on the budget and new projections moving forward. This will help guide the amended budget process. He also provided some information about the Governor's budget address and how it will impact funding for our district.
