Our 1st grade authors had the best time reading their own stories to their families today. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success!

We had the most precious visitor today! This sweet first grader stopped by our room to practice reading for Young Author’s Day. We even invited her big sister over to join the audience! Afterward, we got to show little sister exactly what writing looks like in third grade. My heart is so full seeing these two support each other!

The Bethel PTO Back to School Bash at the Aquatic Zoo is coming up on Sunday, August 3 from 6:30–8:30 PM!

Admission is FREE for all Bethel students and their families. Come celebrate the start of a great school year with swimming, friends, and fun!

Tonight is a special night. Awards Night will take place in Waller Gym at 6:00 PM, and all are welcome to attend to help us celebrate dozens of special kids. Doors open at 5:30.

Little Paws local cat rescue came today to tell 8th grade how rescues work and let them love on kittens. 8th grade donated $263 to Little Paws from funds raised during spring fling this year for animal rescue awareness. We are proud of their commitment to serving our community.

Congratulations to Masyn Morgan. He took 8th place at the SIJHSAA Class S state track meet in the 100 meter hurdles. His time of 16.06 seconds is his personal best.

5th Grade Fun Day did not disappoint today even with the rain! Huge thanks to Cedarhurst Center for the Arts for hosting such a fun and educational experience every year! Mr. Mike is an awesome docent, too!

Congratulations to Emmie Richardson and Masyn Morgan. They were honored at the Collegial Network of Principals of Jefferson County dinner tonight held at Rend Lake College.

Fifth grade presented their Living Museum on Friday. They shared the lives of one of their favorite live people this year for a change of pace. They all worked very hard and it was a huge success!
