There is still time to donate to our Americorps student's service project. The drop off is located in the gym lobby.
First grade is able to bring in a guest music teacher twice a month thanks to money raised by families working at the concession stand and through other generous community donors. Today, each first grader got to play the xylophone and dance to fun songs while learning about beats, rhythm, and the notes C, D, and E!

The Bulldogs basketball season came to a close tonight against Waltonville in the regional. They finished with an 18-5 record. Thank you for a great season boys and how about that cheer squad? Excellence all around.
Bethel sent another great group to Brain Games for 5th/6th grade competition today at Rend Lake College.
The boys basketball team starts regional play tonight. We play at 7:15 against Waltonville at Summersville Grade School. All Bethel-McClellan kids get in free. Wear your blue and be ready to cheer them on.

Congratulations to 4th grader Zayden Wheeler. He won the placemat coloring contest for the Ag in the Classroom pancake breakfast. He will receive a free ticket to attend. The pancake breakfast will be held on February 8th.
The Bethel-McClellan Scholar Dogs held their first match of the season today falling to Bluford. They will be back in action at Rome on January 29th.

Our AmeriCorps students, Mr. Andrew and Ms. Julia are collecting food for AmeriCorps. A box and table are located just inside the gym lobby if you want to donate. Please see the flyer in this post for more details.
Waltonville will not have a girls peewee team for saturday. 3rd grade game will start at 9am followed by 4th at 10am. 5th at 11am and 2nd grade at noon. This will be at Waltonville Grade school
