Due to weather and hazardous traveling conditions, Monday, January 26th, will be an e-Learning day for Bethel Grade School. Please complete Packet #1.

Brain Games and Scholar Bowl will be rescheduled.

Pre-K was not set to have school on Monday, but will now take Tuesday off pending any more weather closures.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our 8th graders last night. The Bulldogs defeated Irvington-North Wamac 52-32 in the 8th graders last home basketball game. Their regional tournament begins on January 28th at Summersville.

With it looking like snow will not start till afternoon. Todays peewee games will be played. Goodluck.

Tomorrows peewee games are as follows 9am girls 10 am 3rd boys 11am 4th boys Be at your game 30 mins early. We are playing as of now if you dont hear from me in the morning were still playing if anything changes i will send out message on app. You will play at Old Dodds school location. As I'm sure we are all aware, we could get a significant amount of snow this weekend. First and foremost, be safe and stay weather aware. If we have to take an e-Learning day on Monday, we will announce it with instructions as soon as possible that morning. Stay safe out there!

Tonight is 8th-grade night for the boys basketball team and the cheer team. Come out and help celebrate these kids at their last home game. Students wearing blue get in free!

Due to illness and an abundance of caution, tonight's boys basketball game against Waltonville has been cancelled. 8th-grade night is still on for Friday night against Irvington-North Wamac.

I'm sure you are all aware of the variations of flu and other illnesses going around. 24 students were absent today due to illness. Parents and families can help us get kids back to school by knowing what symptoms to be on the lookout for. Students can be contagious and spread illness. Please take a look at this graphic to know when to send your children to school and when to keep them home.

Change in plans for tomorrow (1/20/26). Both buses will run as normal.

The transportation plan for tomorrow (1/20/26) will be the same as last Friday. Bus #1 will run its normal route in the morning. Bus #2 students will need to be driven to school. Both buses will run as normal tomorrow afternoon.

2026 Bethel-McClellan Volleyball Tryout Results. The following girls have made the team. Please look for your number. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 23 24 We will have practice on Tuesday from 3-5 pm, with the parent meeting in the Bethel cafeteria after practice.

One more important message about Friday (tomorrow). We will have a bus #2 for the 11:30 dismissal. Those families will still need to transport your children to school in the morning. Again, thank you for your patience and our apologies for any inconvenience this might cause.

Important Information for Friday. Tomorrow (1/16/2026) will be an 11:30 dismissal. We will not be running Bus #2 tomorrow. For those students on that route, parents will need to drive their children to and from school. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Don't forget, we do not have school on Monday in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birthday. Have a great long weekend.

Congratualtions ot the Scholar Bowl team on the first win of the season today. They beat Opdyke Belle-Rive 95-25.

Today (1/13/2026) We will need to run a double bus route. Bus #1 will be driven home first, and Bus #2 route will go second. Please allow more time for your bus #2 kids to get home. You can pick your child up in the pick-up line if you like. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Menu Adjustment: Monday we will have loaded French fries instead of loaded nachos.

There will be no boys basketball game at Spring Garden tonight. It will be rescheduled soon.
