1st grade wrapped up their unit on the human body by becoming doctors for the afternoon! They were able to explore x-rays, body system puzzles, and stretchy organs. They used light to x-ray words, and of course they had to play a classic game of Operation. Special thanks to our big kid friends (and Mrs. Tay) who kept our stations running smoothly.

At tonight's board meeting, Mr. Eric Gockel was presented a plaque recognizing his years of service to Bethel Grade School District #82. Mr. Gockel came to the board right before COVID and helped with the early phases and decision making for our construction project. We are grateful for his service during this unique span of time. Thank you Mr. Gockel.

Another week of good progress for Shores Builders Inc. on the new addition. Most of the footings have been poured ahead of the rain expected for tomorrow. A big shoutout to Shores for the commitment they are showing to this project.
In this phase of the project, we are adding six new classrooms, a set of bathrooms, a set of staff bathrooms, and a custodial room to replace the four older classrooms on the north side of the building.
